Using MSUITE and prefabrication, joint venture Barton Malow-Christman and Limbach complete hospital project two months ahead of schedule

The customer, Limbach, an MEP contractor, faced the challenge of managing the complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection aspects for the large McLaren Greater Lansing Replacement Hospital project. Their goal was to leverage extensive prefabrication to meet an aggressive schedule. To achieve this, they partnered with the vendor, MSUITE, to implement its cloud-based management software to connect BIM, fabrication, and field teams.

MSUITE provided the software and expertise to layout a pop-up fabrication shop and manage the entire prefabrication workflow. This solution enabled Limbach to fabricate and track multi-trade assemblies off-site, significantly streamlining the process. The results were exceptional, with the project being delivered two months ahead of schedule. This early completion resulted in $5.6 million in direct savings for the owner and the potential to generate $60 million in indirect operational revenue. MSUITE was also instrumental in providing the detailed tracking needed for billing and insurance.
