CGIAR, a global agricultural research consortium of about 10,000 scientists operating in 96 countries, was losing valuable research data as staff moved between field and office locations. With roughly 30 backend servers, about 40% of data stored internally, inconsistent backup practices across offices, and devices frequently stolen or damaged, CGIAR needed a reliable, easy-to-deploy backup solution — MSP360’s MSP360 Managed Backup.

CGIAR deployed more than 1,200 licenses of MSP360 Managed Backup, using the MSP360 client to automate backups from all researcher devices to Amazon cloud storage without buying additional hardware or upfront capacity.
