Sogeti, a global consulting, technology, and outsourcing services provider, needed a better way to manage rapidly growing simulation data, ensure consistent methods across distributed teams, and maintain full auditability for aerospace and other R&D projects. To address this, Sogeti turned to MSC Software and its SimManager simulation content and process management solution, along with SimXpert, to replace ad hoc data handling and improve control over simulation workflows.

MSC Software implemented SimManager at Sogeti to centralize simulation content, automate repetitive processes, support collaboration across international teams, and capture the pedigree of models and results. The result was a fully functional system managing more than 20 TB of simulation content, major productivity gains, less rework, better project visibility, improved quality assurance through audit trails, and lower IT storage costs by enabling simulations to be rerun from stored process data instead of retaining large result files.
