BAFTA Winner’s Film Equipment Company Scales Up with MRPeasy

Motion Impossible, founded in 2014 by BAFTA‑winning cameraman Rob Drewett and engineer Andy Nancollis, designs advanced modular, stabilized camera dolly systems for film, TV and VR. Rapid growth and a new, more complex product line exposed the limits of spreadsheet-based operations, forcing the company to adopt an ERP despite having no prior in‑house ERP experience.

After evaluating solutions, the team implemented cloud-based MRPeasy themselves (no external consultants), prioritizing strong inventory and BOM management and affordability. MRPeasy now provides accurate inventory and BOM control, reveals process gaps, and acts as a “silent partner” in daily operations; Motion Impossible is rolling out further modules (production planning, barcoding) and planning wider user adoption as they scale up.
