Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation operating in over 100 countries, needed to replace a manual visitor sign-in book and reduce workload on their front-door guard. Their requirements included easy self sign-in/out without a receptionist, fast group check-in, guest pre-registration and badge pre-printing, host notifications, and a cost-effective solution.

They implemented MRI OnLocation to manage employees, contractors, visitors and evacuations. The system provides kiosks and a mobile app for barcode ID scanning, bulk sign-in, a live on-site dashboard, pre-printed Visitor Pass tags with red lanyards, and induction management. Implementation was smooth, handled a 60-person executive visit with pre-printed badges, reduced badge losses from nearly 20/month to 1–2, and removed much of the burden on reception staff.
