A MRI Software Case Study

Oxford Properties uses MRI Investment Management to prepare for the future

Oxford Properties Group is a global real estate owner, developer and manager based in Toronto, overseeing more than C$57 billion in assets across office, retail, industrial, hotels and multifamily residential. As the firm expanded, its legacy budgeting and forecasting tools — including complex Excel models — could no longer scale or support sophisticated portfolio analysis, leaving Oxford unable to efficiently manage portfolio data or assess the impact of key assumptions.

Oxford implemented MRI Investment Management to centralize strategic planning, modeling and debt management. The platform improved treasury and planning processes by enabling total-return analysis (income and capital), reducing manual inputs through a valuation engine, and serving as a single system of record for debt and forecasts. As a result, Oxford gained greater accuracy, scalability beyond Excel limits, integrated data across teams, and faster top-down scenario modeling to support its five-year plans.
