Leading manufacturing company hires MRI Software to manage its depreciation schedule

AirBoss, founded in 1996, is one of North America’s largest custom rubber mixers, designing and manufacturing rubber compounds and molded products for transportation, defense and industrial markets with 650 employees across three offices and three manufacturing sites. The company’s Corporate Controller was managing fixed-asset depreciation in Excel, which proved inefficient and led to over-depreciation; his key requirement was the ability to calculate depreciation by multiple units of production (pounds produced), a feature few systems offered.

AirBoss selected MRI Software’s Asset4000 because it met the MUOP requirement, offered strong demos and an attentive sales process, and provided features like scanned asset images and extensive standard and custom reporting. Implementation and user training were scheduled for July, with the solution expected to deliver more accurate depreciation tracking, better asset documentation and improved reporting capabilities at a competitive price.
