Shepherd Neame Selects eSight® for Energy Monitoring & Targeting at Faversham Brewery

Shepherd Neame, a long-established brewer and pub operator with around 370 sites, needed a way to combine existing electricity, gas, water metering and on-site production figures into a single, web-based reporting and analysis system (with a requirement to integrate with SAP). To meet this need they selected MRI eSight’s eSight energy management software as a hosted solution.

MRI eSight implemented a hosted eSight deployment, using its iDC data-transfer product and bespoke data drivers to pull production and metering data into the platform, enable specific energy and regression analysis, set targets, and automate scheduled reports. The solution cut the time spent producing reports, reduced on-site hardware/software maintenance, and helped Shepherd Neame realize around 25% savings in utility bills from energy-reduction projects.
