Leading Pharmaceutical Company, a research-based biomedical and pharmaceutical firm responsible for widely used medicines, needed an automatic Monitoring & Targeting solution to meet its strategic target to reduce energy consumption. The company required an internet-based, scalable system that could integrate separate metering and monitoring systems into a single accessible suite, with zero impact on on-site IT and no software installed locally, and be accessible to both internal staff and external energy consultants. They selected MRI eSight and its eSight® hosted energy management platform.

MRI eSight delivered a hosted eSight® solution that aggregated 15‑minute interval data from Schneider PowerLogic meters and a PI Historian, and used Enercom Multilog loggers for gas and steam, transferring all data to MRI eSight’s secure data center for immediate reporting and analysis. The SaaS deployment minimized on-site installations while providing scheduled bespoke reports, alarms and advanced analytics (regression, CUSUM, baseload, tariff and demand analysis), which supported targeted energy‑reduction projects across manufacturing sites; MRI eSight’s platform enabled real‑time monitoring and helped drive measurable energy savings (the eSight® suite cites up to 30% potential reductions in energy, cost and carbon).
