Racing Post Implements Subscription & Churn Management Platform

Racing Post, the UK and Ireland’s leading horse racing news and statistics publisher (about 1.2M unique digital users/month), needed to modernize an ageing in‑house subscription system to grow digital memberships, collect richer audience data and stem rising churn—especially involuntary cancellations from failed card payments. The publisher required better security, flexible product and voucher functionality, metering/access controls and robust recurring‑revenue management.

Racing Post implemented MPP Global’s eSuite, migrating customer data into a single customer view and adding self‑service, voucher campaigns and a Retention & Recovery module (multi‑step retry rules, suppression windows and card updater services). The new platform improved admin UX and the payment/billing journey, boosted acquisition and retention, and has driven subscription growth—projected to increase subscriber numbers by about 30% following the launch of a responsive site and new analytics.
