Liv launches in 7 countries with Moze

Liv, a carbon tracking app for Gen Z founded by Italian managers in London, wanted to give users more awareness and control over their carbon footprint. They faced the challenge of designing and developing this new digital product from the ground up in a lean, agile way. They chose the vendor Moze for its technical expertise to handle the full-stack build, UX/UI design, and to guide them through the initial critical choices via a co-design workshop.

Moze developed the app using Expo (React Native) and Node.js, organizing the work in iterative sprints. The solution included features like the Liv Score for tracking CO2e from card transactions and a Product Finder catalog for discovering low-emission goods. After a private beta to gather user feedback, the app was successfully launched on the App Store in seven countries. Moze helped Liv realize its idea into a functional product that motivates users to adopt a lifestyle more mindful of climate change.
