GPO Delivers Major Increases in Clicks-to-Calls and Impressions with Moz Local

GPO, an Austin-based search marketing agency, needed scalable presence management for a major national retailer with more than 3,000 U.S. locations. Manual maintenance of Google My Business listings and duplicate cleanup wasn’t feasible at that scale, so GPO chose Moz Local (from Moz) to automate listing distribution and surface duplicate listings.

Moz used Moz Local to distribute accurate location data across major directories, automatically close duplicates, and streamline ongoing maintenance, freeing GPO to focus on other SEO work. Between March–July 2016 Moz Local expanded listing reach from ~74,000 to 83,000 across 2,610 locations, identified/resolved 600+ inaccurate listings and facilitated closure of 3,900+ duplicates, driving a 26% increase in click-to-calls, a 68% rise in listing impressions and a 12% lift in listing traffic for the retailer.
