W Hotel creates a custom undersea porte-cochere with Moz Designs across 1,000+ miles

The W Hotel in Scottsdale faced the challenge of transforming the dark recesses of its porte-cochere entrance into a visually exciting and engaging space that would create a memorable first impression. The hotel's architect, Hornberger + Worstell, enlisted Moz Designs to create a unique custom installation that would incorporate natural light and foster social interaction between arriving guests and the pool deck above.

Moz Designs fabricated and installed a custom undersea-themed environment using their Wall Weave aluminum panels and column covers. The solution featured a shimmering, wave-like sapphire blue ceiling and kelp-covered columns, all enhanced by acrylic portals that allowed light from the pool above to filter down. This created a dynamic visual effect that wowed guests. The Moz Designs installation successfully delivered a lasting first impression, perfectly aligning with the W Hotel's brand identity of offering a unique and dramatic guest experience.
