Dole Food Company Inc. partnered with Movia to tackle the challenge of public awareness around food waste and hunger. Dole wanted to spotlight the contrast between the amount of edible food wasted in the US and the millions of people facing food insecurity, using out-of-home advertising to reach people in everyday settings.
Movia helped Dole launch “Malnutrition Facts,” a campaign that transformed nutrition-label-style billboards into attention-grabbing messages about food waste and hunger in New York. The campaign ran on 2 billboards over 1 day in New York and generated 165K impressions, helping Dole drive conversation and promote its #ChangeTheFacts message.
