How Yard House Helped Guests Find Their Favorite Beers with a Localized Email Campaign

Yard House, the American restaurant chain known for its large draft beer selection, needed a way to promote its constantly changing Chalkboard Series beers in email. Because each location’s beer list was localized and updated in real time, Yard House partnered with Movable Ink to make the campaign personalized and location-specific.

Movable Ink used Yard House’s restaurant API to pull live beer data from 68 locations and dynamically show each guest the nearest restaurant’s current tap list in email. The result was Yard House’s first fully customized beer email campaign, which drove a 32% year-over-year increase in click-through rates versus other beer campaigns and re-engaged lapsed email subscribers.
