Chick-fil-A, working with email agency BrightWave, needed a way to drive downloads for its new Chick-fil-A One app while delivering a more relevant email experience. The team lacked data on who had already downloaded the original app and which device subscribers were using, and since it was a first-of-its-kind campaign, they also needed a way to test creative effectively using Movable Ink’s Mobile Device Targeter.
Movable Ink helped Chick-fil-A send device-targeted emails that automatically detected each customer’s device and download status, while real-time testing selected the better-performing creative for the broader audience. The campaign helped Chick-fil-A One reach #1 in the iTunes Store and streamlined the email production process, saving valuable time.
