Healthy Stuff Lab builds interactive web tables with Mouko using Google Sheets and Drupal

Healthy Stuff Lab, a team of scientists testing products and resources for toxic chemicals, needed a better way to publish their data tables online. They used Google Sheets for analysis but existing embedding options did not provide the control they required; they wanted interactive, styled, and downloadable web tables without automatically publishing every change made in the spreadsheet. They engaged the vendor Mouko to design a solution.

Mouko developed a custom Drupal module that integrated with the Google Sheets API to create an automated "table builder." The solution pulled data and style information from specified Google Sheets, storing it in Drupal to create flexible, interactive HTML tables for their website. The project was a success, fulfilling all of Healthy Stuff Lab's objectives for interactivity, flexibility, styling, and download functionality, and Mouko continues to enhance the module based on the client's use.
