KONE elevates driver safety with Motive AI Dashcams

KONE, a global leader in elevators and escalators, needed to improve fleet safety after frequent minor incidents, limited visibility from its previous telematics tool, and a lack of reliable evidence to support drivers when accidents occurred. KONE turned to Motive, specifically Motive’s AI-powered dashcams and driver coaching, to get accurate, real-time insights across its 3,000-vehicle U.S. fleet.

Motive implemented road-facing AI Dashcams that detect risky behavior, provide in-the-moment coaching through the Motive Driver App, and capture high-quality video for incident review. The results included a 52% decrease in safety events, an 86% increase in miles between events, and a 4% decrease in idling time, while also helping KONE exonerate drivers more easily and free up staff time from claims management.
