How Equipment Corporation of America optimizes performance across all job sites

Equipment Corporation of America (ECA), a provider of foundation equipment for heavy construction with more than nine U.S. and Canadian locations, needed an easy-to-use fleet management solution to give visibility over technicians and assets, ensure compliance, and keep costly equipment downtime to a minimum. Because most drivers are technicians unfamiliar with fleet tech, ECA sought an intuitive system for driver logs, GPS asset tracking, and real-time location visibility; they selected Motive to meet those needs.

Motive delivered fleet management tools — including GPS asset tracking, geofencing, smart dashcam capabilities, and 24/7 support and training — that ECA has used since 2017 to manage roughly 45 assets, a fleet of about 15 vehicles, and 16 field technicians across multiple sites.
