Desjardins, the Canadian financial services cooperative, wanted to advance its sustainability goals by reducing paper consumption and encouraging more customers to sign up for paper-free online statements and documents. To support this always-on email nurture campaign, Desjardins worked with Motiva AI and used its Per-Contact Send Time AI to improve engagement with the paper-free program.
Motiva AI optimized email delivery timing so messages would reach each recipient when they were most likely to check their inbox, helping increase awareness and opt-ins. The results were strong: Desjardins saw unique open rates rise by an average of 21% across 11 campaigns worldwide, with one email’s open rate improving by 85%. Desjardins also planned to expand its use of Motiva AI’s Message Testing to further refine content and improve performance.
