Eindhoven University of Technology - Customer Case Study

The Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) faced a significant security challenge due to its open campus culture, which led to a large number of unregistered keys being circulated among employees and students. The university’s security department needed a reliable and secure method to manage key distribution and access to restricted areas like labs and offices. They turned to Morse Watchmans for a solution.

Morse Watchmans implemented its KeyWatcher® key management system, which provided secure, authorized key access and replaced outdated cabinets and manual logs. The system registered every key's history, including who borrowed it and when. As a result, TU/e greatly reduced the number of keys in circulation, gained the ability to track key usage through detailed reports, and could easily identify who was responsible for a key at any time, significantly improving security and accountability.
