Cincinnati's Metropolitan Sewer District Relies on KeyWatcher® for Fleet Management

The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati faced a significant key control challenge. With 180 keys for 150 employees spread across a 24/7 operation, their pegboard system was ineffective, often leaving management unaware of who had which vehicle keys. To resolve this issue, they partnered with Morse Watchmans and implemented their KeyWatcher® key control and management system.

Morse Watchmans installed several KeyWatcher cabinets with KeyPro III software to centralize and automate key management. The solution provides real-time tracking, sends automatic email alerts for overdue keys, and generates detailed usage reports. This has resulted in fewer lost keys, eliminated the need for spares, improved fleet security, and given the district the ability to quickly identify who was using a vehicle at any given time.
