A Morrison Case Study
Hooters, a major restaurant chain, faced the challenge of re-engaging customers and attracting new ones after pandemic-related declines, specifically targeting young adult sports fans as football season returned. They partnered with the vendor Morrison to create a campaign that would drive foot traffic on game days.
Morrison developed "The Orange Zone" campaign, a creative concept that positioned Hooters as the ultimate sports viewing destination. The solution involved targeted paid media across display, video, and location-based channels. This strategy by Morrison successfully drove over 20,000 visits to Hooters locations and generated more than 307,000 customer actions, such as clicks for directions, directly resulting from the paid media effort.
