Association of African American Financial Advisors Annual Event Demonstrates Benefits of Immersive Virtual Events

The Association of African American Financial Advisors (AAAA) needed to transition its annual Vision Conference to a virtual format that could successfully replicate the networking, learning, and connection of an in-person event. They partnered with the vendor MootUp to utilize its 3D virtual event platform to overcome the engagement limitations of standard video conferencing.

MootUp implemented an immersive, avatar-based solution featuring private audio zones for partner booths, integrated video conferencing, and customizable breakout rooms for ceremonies and networking. The result was a highly successful event where over 160 attendees spent a combined 1,100 hours in the virtual environment, achieving a strong sense of presence and engagement. The AAAA was impressed with the platform's ease of use and design options, and MootUp will host the association's event again the following year.
