How Using MoonClerk Has Helped PBMA Grow Its Membership

PBMA (the Professional Bicycle Mechanics Association) is a newly formed trade organization focused on education, advocacy and promotion of bicycle mechanics. PBMA needed a simpler, more flexible way to accept payments for memberships, workshops and its webstore—PayPal’s button-based flow was turning some potential members away, and building a custom Stripe portal was more work than they wanted to tackle—so they turned to MoonClerk for an easier payment/form solution.

MoonClerk provided an easy-to-integrate form builder and credit-card payment option (used alongside PayPal) for PBMA’s membership, workshops and store. The result was faster setup, fewer signup hurdles and significant adoption—about half of PBMA’s transactions are now processed through MoonClerk—which has helped the association scale (now about 700 individual members and nearly 200 business partners) and saved substantial administrative time.
