ShiftZen, a small SaaS company that provides employee scheduling for restaurants, retail and other businesses, was struggling with manual card collection, failed payments they couldn’t detect, and lost revenue. To avoid building a custom Stripe integration, ShiftZen adopted MoonClerk’s recurring billing and payment forms to handle payments and customer payment updates.
MoonClerk provided out-of-the-box recurring billing, hosted payment forms and an API for account updates and notifications, enabling in-app payment links and automated communications. Using MoonClerk saved ShiftZen roughly 60–80 hours (about two weeks) of developer time, reduced payment failures, and increased conversions by making it much easier for customers to sign up and update payment methods.
