How GoDaddy uses AIOps to streamline operations and cloud migration

GoDaddy, the world’s largest domain name registrar, was growing quickly and moving to AWS, but its legacy event management tools like CA Spectrum couldn’t keep up with new data sources or the pace of change. As a result, customers were often reporting service issues before GoDaddy’s IT teams were aware, creating pressure on Ops and DevOps to improve service assurance. GoDaddy turned to Moogsoft AIOps to help detect problems faster and modernize monitoring during its cloud migration.

Moogsoft implemented an AIOps layer that correlated events and alerts, highlighted the situations causing disruptions, and automatically created ServiceNow tickets as incidents emerged. The solution integrated with GoDaddy’s existing monitoring stack and AWS tools, helping the company stay agile and support cloud/hybrid applications without extra resources. GoDaddy expects a 50% reduction in MTTR, along with a 66% reduction in customer help desk calls and a 99% reduction in workload.
