A Mood Media Case Study
The Verve Hotel, owned and operated by Distinctive Hospitality Group, asked Mood Media to help transform its newly renovated property into a downtown celebration of pop culture and a modern reinvention of American hospitality. Having worked with Mood Media on prior Experience Design projects for other AAA Four Diamond properties, DHG engaged the vendor to deliver an immersive audio/video and digital signage program for the hotel’s public spaces.
Mood Media collaborated with DHG, architects and interior designers to reimagine 17,000 square feet of public space and deployed a full audio/video solution in under 90 days: a custom music soundtrack (60s–80s hits and TV themes) delivered through a custom-built Bose system with ControlSpace DSP and PowerMatch amplifiers, a concert-quality stage with a 48-channel Yamaha console, and an extensive HD digital signage/TV network (including two e-posters) all integrated with Crestron and a custom Mood interface. The result is a hip, sophisticated, and fully integrated guest experience across the lobby, Violet Thorn Bar and Pantry Restaurant, with live-performance capability and consistent, measurable improvement in public-space atmosphere and engagement.
