Aloft Hotels - Customer Case Study

Aloft Hotels, created to shake up the traditional select‑service segment with a contemporary, design‑driven guest experience, needed an integrated sensory concept that encouraged guest interaction and brought the brand vision to life. Mood Media was engaged to deliver that concept, providing custom music, digital signage, scent and sound solutions — including a tailored soundtrack played through Bose “Turtle” speakers — and to design the W XYZ bar atmosphere and immersive public‑space experience.

Mood Media implemented the soundtrack, LCD visuals, scent programs and discreet Bose “Turtle” speaker deployments to create a consistent, social hotel environment and became the mandated brand standard for Aloft. Since the Aloft launch in 2005 the brand has expanded to more than 60 hotels worldwide, with Mood Media’s music, digital signage and sensory programs deployed across 60+ locations to help deliver the signature Aloft guest experience.
