Liverpool Football Club Sealed Its First English Premier League Title in 30 Years, With Monterosa's Match Centre Solution at the Heart of Their Fan Engagement Strategy

Liverpool FC, one of the world’s leading football clubs, wanted to stay “top of the league” off the pitch as well as on it by building stronger direct relationships with its global fanbase and increasing registrations and data capture. To help meet that goal under a tight Project Restart deadline, Liverpool FC partnered with Monterosa and its Interaction Cloud/Event Centre solution to launch a new digital fan engagement experience.

Monterosa built and deployed the official Liverpool FC Match Centre in just six weeks, creating a single destination for fans to follow live match content, commentary, polls, trivia, votes, and interactive video before, during, and after games. The results included 4.1 million unique users, 1.2 million registrations, and 77% interactive video engagement, while the club later reported 11.05 million unique users overall and said the solution became an important driver of its long-term fan registration strategy.
