How the Jockey Club Deployed Monterosa / Interaction Cloud™ to Power Their Real-time App Across 15 Physical Locations

The Jockey Club, the UK’s biggest commercial racing organisation, needed a secure, scalable way to collect first-party data from racegoers—especially the 75% of attendees they didn’t already know because tickets were often bought in groups by one person. To address this, they partnered with Monterosa and its Interaction Cloud platform to explore a “Connected Raceday” app that could improve the fan experience while supporting marketing, ticketing, and engagement goals.

Monterosa delivered a native app built on Interaction Cloud and the Fan Companion framework, giving The Jockey Club one app for tickets, logistics, live race updates, betting tools, push notifications, and interactive content managed locally across 15 racecourses. The results included over 250,000 in-app ticket redemptions, 30,000 digitally shared tickets creating new data records, 45,000+ game plays from 20,000 new users, 317k unique users, and 137k orders redeemed.
