Case Study: Goodwood launches the most interactive motorsport event ever with Monterosa / Interaction Cloud

A Monterosa Case Study

Preview of the Goodwood Case Study

How Goodwood used Monterosa / Interaction Cloud™ to deliver the most interactive motorsport event ever

Goodwood, the historic south coast motorsport venue behind Festival of Speed and Revival, needed a way to keep fans connected when Covid-19 prevented a traditional live audience in 2020. To meet that challenge, Goodwood partnered with Monterosa and its Interaction Cloud platform to create a virtual experience that could engage at-home audiences while still delivering value to the event and its commercial partners.

Monterosa built a rich Speedweek Hub with live streams, real-time interactivity, gamification, prediction and knowledge-based challenges, curated car browsing, VIP gated content, and partner activations such as Mastercard. The results were strong: the hub drew 100k visitors, generated 20k registrations, delivered an average dwell time of 21 minutes, and saw users interact with livestream content more than 2.5 times on average, while also driving 8.5k car saves and 1.9k click-throughs to manufacturers’ sites.
