How Egg experienced growth and transformed its operations with Monta’s platform

The UK-based renewable energy company Egg faced significant operational hurdles that hindered its growth. Their previous charge point management systems were inefficient, requiring manual payment processing and the juggling of up to eight different platforms, which created a fragmented experience for its customers. To overcome these challenges and achieve scalability, Egg partnered with EV charging platform provider Monta to implement the all-in-one Monta Hub.

Monta provided a unified, hardware-agnostic platform that automated payments and streamlined operations. The solution enabled Egg to seamlessly migrate over 920 charge points across 150 sites. The results were substantial: within 12 months, Egg facilitated over 52,800 charging sessions, delivered more than 1 million kWh of energy, and gained the operational efficiency needed to create an entirely new internal department.
