San Francisco Opera Boosts Web Accessibility Efforts With Monsido

San Francisco Opera, a leading not-for-profit opera company, needed an easy-to-use, affordable way to improve ADA compliance, accessibility, and overall website governance. CIO Eric Rubio and Web Development Manager Mark Wladika led the search and chose Monsido in October 2019, adopting the Monsido Accessibility module to support a more rigorous process for site maintenance and inclusivity.

Monsido’s weekly scans and digestible reports automated manual ADA checks, surfaced QA issues and analytics gaps, and made it easier for the team of 12 platform users to prioritize fixes. As a result, Monsido helped raise the site’s accessibility score from about 80% to 90.17%, saved dozens of hours of manual work per year, and provided measurable insight to guide further improvements.
