Corner Bakery Moves System-Wide Catering Operations into the Cloud

Corner Bakery Café, a fast-casual restaurant chain with a substantial catering business, needed to replace its aging, in‑house software with a scalable cloud solution to better connect operations and customers. To modernize its takeout, delivery and catering operations, Corner Bakery Café adopted MONKEY, the cloud platform from MonkeySoft Solutions, because catering represented roughly 25–30% of its sales and required a more reliable, scalable system.

MonkeySoft Solutions centralized web and mobile ordering, real‑time transaction data and integrations with Corner Bakery Café’s in‑house systems, while providing training and support to maintain continuity during rollout. After a pilot in August 2017, Corner Bakery Café brought 20–30 locations online weekly through year‑end until all cafes were live, delivering faster in‑store and phone ordering, improved billing/payments and clearer catering visibility for stakeholders — enabling the chain to scale and better manage a revenue stream that accounted for a quarter to a third of sales.
