University of North Texas launches Spanish microsite in 3 months with Monkee-Boy

The University of North Texas (UNT) faced the challenge of creating a welcoming and informative web destination for its growing Latin community and Spanish-speaking family members. They partnered with the vendor Monkee-Boy for web design services to build a microsite that would authentically communicate key information about getting a degree and financial aid, all within a tight three-month deadline and while navigating pandemic-related obstacles.

Monkee-Boy designed and delivered a culturally competent, WCAG AA-compliant microsite prototype with authentic content. The solution successfully provided a friendly and supportive experience to educate families and recruit students. The AVP of Marketing and Communications at UNT expressed that the vendor did a great job delivering and that she was professionally thrilled with the outcome, which was also well-received by her team.
