Weland AB, a Swedish manufacturer of staircases, railings, and pressure-welded gratings, faced the challenge of managing a large group of around 60 companies, many with their own production facilities. Their goal was to ensure standardized processes and smooth operations across the entire group using a single ERP system from vendor Monitor ERP.

The solution implemented by Monitor ERP was a deeply integrated system featuring standardized charts of accounts, the Activities module for order planning, and the Check Delivery Times (CDT) function for precise capacity planning. A key result was the development of several custom functions, like the Warehouse Management System and product configurator, which are now standard in Monitor's G5 release. This collaboration with Monitor ERP provided Weland with a holistic view of its operations, enabling seamless inter-company orders, reduced vulnerability to staff absence, and the ability to generate quotes and begin production instantly.
