The solution involved migrating Morningstar's API services, rebranded as Dynamic Service APIs, to a multi-region MongoDB Atlas instance. This consolidated disparate data and optimized data models for different use cases. As a result, Morningstar achieved greater agility, lower latency, and a better user experience, evidenced by building its new strategic Morningstar Wealth Platform on Atlas, which is used by over 255,000 financial advisors globally. MongoDB's technology enabled Morningstar to efficiently turn data into actionable insights for investors.
