MongoDB Delivers Multi-Petabyte Data Store Option for Adobe Experience Manager

Adobe needed a way to store and manage massive volumes of digital assets for Adobe Experience Manager, its web experience management platform, as customer demand and content repositories grew across web, mobile, social, video, and in-store channels. To address this challenge, Adobe added support for MongoDB in Experience Manager 6.0 to provide a scalable persistence layer for petabytes of data and mission-critical digital experiences.

MongoDB implemented the data store option and tight integration with Adobe Experience Manager, giving customers a highly scalable repository with horizontal scalability for many concurrent reads and writes, plus easier management for self-hosted deployments. The result was a platform better able to keep pace with exponential digital asset growth and accelerate development of digital experiences across channels, with measurable support for petabyte-scale storage.
