CentralReach unifies 4 billion clinical data points with MongoDB

CentralReach, a healthcare technology provider, faced the challenge of managing over 4 billion diverse clinical data points for autism care, a volume growing by more than one billion annually. Their existing infrastructure was struggling to handle this scale and the complex documentation requirements from various insurance providers, creating administrative burdens for clinicians. To build its AI-powered Care360 platform, CentralReach selected MongoDB and its MongoDB Atlas service to unify this data and enable powerful insights.

The solution implemented using MongoDB Atlas provided a flexible document model to seamlessly aggregate data from numerous sources into a single view for providers. This allowed CentralReach to power semantic, natural language querying for clinicians and accelerate AI development through the MongoDB AI Applications Program (MAAP). The results include significantly reduced time spent searching records, fewer documentation errors, and more stable patient care, allowing clinicians to focus on delivering effective treatment to thousands of patients.
