MongoDB helped AstraZeneca pull together data from disparate systems and run large-scale Tanimoto comparisons on about 500,000,000 compounds. The result was a faster way to explore patterns and biomarkers for cancer research, helping AstraZeneca accelerate R&D and uncover insights it had not seen before.
