A MongoDB Case Study
Amadeus, a major software provider in the travel industry, faced the challenge of investigating recurring IT issues across vast volumes of system logs from millions of daily transactions. This process was time-consuming and disruptive for their developers. To address this, Amadeus partnered with MongoDB to build a faster, more intelligent way to correlate data between logs and bug tickets.
Using MongoDB Atlas, including its Atlas Search and Vector Search features, along with OpenAI, Amadeus built an intelligent incident investigation tool called iPIM. This solution vectorizes and stores historical problem data, enabling fast, multilingual semantic search that matches new issues to past solutions. The outcome for Amadeus was significantly faster incident detection and resolution, allowing developers to focus more on value-added work.
