Ski Banff Lake Louise Sunshine, which represents three Alberta resorts (Ski Sunshine, Ski Lake Louise and Ski Norquay), needed to streamline its point-of-sale operations and consolidate multiple payment providers and bank accounts. They engaged Moneris to provide POS terminals, Wireless POS and the Merchant Direct online reporting service to handle Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and debit transactions.

Moneris deployed centralized POS hardware, wireless payment terminals and Merchant Direct reporting so the resorts now make one call to Moneris for payment issues, deposit into a single bank account, and access daily, shift-level transaction reports. The change cut reconciliation time from as long as a week to immediate or next-day visibility, sped guest payments at busy events with wireless terminals, and improved overall operational efficiency and support.
