Studio8fold, led by Alexander Frekse, was struggling to manage many concurrent projects (for example a loft extension in Hackney) and keep tasks, priorities and billable time from slipping between separate boards and spreadsheets. The challenge was gaining a single, reliable weekly view to allocate resources, spot urgent work, and record hours so nothing fell through the cracks.
They implemented a monday.com Weekly Tasks template using numeric project IDs, grouped queues (Today/This week/Next week), and standardized pulses with owner, status, priority, date, hours and billable flags; completed items move to per‑project boards organized by month. The result is a centralised, always‑updated overview that prevents missed tasks, improves time and billability tracking, and provides real data to refine fee proposals and resource planning.
