The customer, Edison, a leading energy company in Italy and Europe, faced challenges with an outdated DAM platform that no longer received updates. Their needs included overhauling taxonomy, metadata, workflows, and external distribution for their extensive multimedia archive. To address this, they partnered with vendor Momapix for its Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution.

Momapix implemented two distinct but integrated installations: a media center and a brand center. The solution provided online management of the corporate identity manual, a public area for external users, and enhanced the historical archive by digitizing photos. They also utilized Moma Transfer for controlled external content distribution, eliminating reliance on clogged email systems and modernizing their entire digital asset strategy.
