Flora Miranda, an Austrian fashion designer, set out to sell made-to-order streetwear that personalizes garments by marrying a customer’s online behavior with designer patterns — a project called IT Pieces. To achieve this she needed a highly flexible, API-first commerce solution that would let her team build a bespoke front end and checkout flow; they chose Moltin for its API-first commerce platform and developer-friendly approach.

Moltin provided the flexible API and clear documentation that let Flora Miranda’s developers build a custom React frontend (hosted on S3) with a serverless Python backend on AWS Lambda/API Gateway, without fighting a prebuilt template. The site was completed in a few months of part-time work, with the Moltin integration taking only a fraction of that time, materially reducing development effort and enabling IT Pieces to launch personalized, data-driven commerce quickly.
