Skillz, a leading mobile games platform, sought to improve the performance of its Android advertising campaigns, specifically for its game Solitaire Cube which had experienced a significant drop in click-through rate (CTR). They partnered with the vendor Moloco and utilized its Moloco Ads product to develop higher-performing native creatives and stabilize campaign performance to secure higher advertising budgets.

Moloco analyzed top-performing creatives to identify successful messaging trends and produced new video assets based on these insights. The solution, which included emphasizing authentic gameplay, winning real money, and user testimonials, directly increased average CTR by 4% to 10.2%. Moloco's testing also confirmed that including call-to-action buttons resulted in a further 0.5% increase in CTR.
