Com2uS expands Summoners War installs with Moloco while maintaining target CPI

Com2uS, a South Korean mobile game developer, faced the challenge of adapting its user acquisition strategy for the iOS 14.5+ update, which fundamentally transformed mobile marketing by restricting access to user data without explicit consent. To prepare for this privacy-centric environment and continue its global success, Com2uS partnered with the vendor Moloco and its Moloco Commerce Media product, facilitated by agency Mobidays.

Moloco implemented a strategy that involved analyzing iOS updates in advance, identifying potential risks with SKAN, and running tests. Using its machine learning technology on combined SKAN and non-SKAN traffic, Moloco helped Com2uS acquire high-value users. The results included successful campaign launches without issues, lower CPI with high retention and purchase rates in the U.S., and successful expansion into markets like Germany and France where install volume increased while target CPI was maintained.
