A Moloco Case Study
Bitmango, a mobile puzzle game company, faced the challenge of preparing for Apple's iOS 14 update and the removal of IDFA tracking, which threatened their ability to target and measure iOS user acquisition campaigns. They partnered with their vendor, Moloco, to run test campaigns using Moloco Ads to understand performance on Limit Ad Tracking (LAT) traffic.
Moloco implemented separate test campaigns for LAT and non-LAT traffic, using its machine learning model to optimize targeting based on contextual signals for LAT users. Through this process and with dedicated account management, Moloco helped Bitmango confirm that LAT users offered similar quality at a lower cost. Results included a 6% immediate increase in install volume for one title, growing to 70%, while maintaining return on ad spend. Bitmango was able to confidently expand its LAT strategy based on these insights.
