Pure cuts CPI to $2.44 and beats D7 ROAS goals with Moloco

Pure, a dating app focused on honest connections, sought to acquire new users beyond walled gardens and increase revenue for its US Android campaigns. Their goals were to achieve a competitive cost per install (CPI) and a high return on ad spend (ROAS) within the first seven days. To meet this challenge, they worked with their performance marketing agency, Admiral Media, and the vendor Moloco to test its Moloco Ads product.

Moloco implemented its machine learning-powered advertising solution, which was tested against a Self-Attributing Network (SAN). The results showed that Moloco significantly outperformed the SAN. Moloco achieved a CPI of $2.44, nearly four times lower than the SAN's $9.43, and exceeded the client's D7 ROAS expectations. This success led Pure to scale its use of Moloco Ads into other markets.
